EBOLA

Moves faster than cholera,
Just like hezbolla,
In the indigenous, Ekikompola.
Spreading faster,
Like a bullet released from a bastolla.
As per now avoid hugs,
For the victims have no lables or tags,
Those in a matatu,
Avoid rubbing shoulders,
As this can cross boarders
Neither should you wait for the president's orders,
No should you exchange fluids,
Let's say in soda,
Or shake hands with your stage driver,
Who owns a bodaboda,
For you might date Ebola.
This is stronger than your premolar,
So teweemoola.
And in case you wanna fight it,
Why not teweenyooma kuba ossobola.

EBOLA,

SLANG-UAGE

So she posed a question,
Inside Namussisi.
I meant the Pioneer bus,
Heading to a poetry session
Mpozi how much?
My neighbor replied,
Like Ebitaano.
Like what?She asks again.
Five hunad.
My neighbor answers.
As Namussisi rolls,
She wants to come out.
I am pulling ova,
She says to the conductor.
Namussisi continues .....
Mumaso aawo....
She shouts at the conductor.
I hate you dude.
She says to the conductor.
Eno Namussisi Ssi Dudu.
Omanyide kukuuta nfudu?
Replys the conductor.

SELF DISCOVERY

Holding your breath,
Trying not to breathe,
Faster your heart is pounding,
Connecting your psyche to your soma,
We move to that spiritual place,
As we have our souls roam in space,
YOGA in progress.
It's meditation time,
It's time to think or ponder,
Full concentration,
So as not to wonder.

Now we were all born with abilities,
To talk, play, eat, and walk,
All easily noticed.
But with our talents,
It's all about self discovery,
As we were all blessed.

UGANDA Vs 50

Now this has become a song,
Or a very powerful gong,
Just like the pronunciation,
Of names such as Godi and Odong.
since each and every Ugandan has similar lines,
UGANDA AT FIFTY.
Where was all this when she turned Forty?
And what will she be like when she doubles the now famous figure 50?
As every one prepares for 9th of October,
Few have taken time to have reflections.
With every action in line with the famous figure,
Even when an iron bar hit-man ambushes someone,
He has three words to say as he damages one's lobes,
Uganda At Fifty.
Uganda Vs 50,
The result is JUBILEE.

"CALL IT KAMPALA"

We call it Kampala,
With its natives so sharp,
And Not baffala,
Its ladies shaking,
Kapappaala,
They leave all men screaming,
Waalala.
Other along the roadside staring,
We call them bakataala.
This capital needs prayers,
You can say kyetaaga essala,
With no minimum wage,
Oba call it omussala.
No drugs in health centres,
Can't save us bwetulwala.
I think we are getting retarded,
Tutandise okuwutaala.
Increasing death,
Bangi batandise okuwubaala.
To me this is so ashaming,
Mubutuufu co tuswaala.

Call it Kampala,
With its famous pot holes,
And its systems with loopholes.
Moreover the capital
Call it Kampala not Rwakitura.
Developing slowly,
Kuba abaamwo,
Bakwaata mpola.
Like the stable currency increase,
Ntegeza dollar.
No more goods on debts,
Nga abeewola,
Kati beemoola.
Hitting iron bars,
Nga baagala Motorolla,
And if you hesitate,
Bajjayo bastolla.
But does this city have a controller?

"THE MESSY POLITICS"

A gradual activity,
Enslaving one in captivity.
They shadow themselves,
By using you the puppet,
They keep themselves,
Off the criminal shelves.
As for the funds,
They do embezzle,
And later pin you,
As the evil or devil.
Since you and them are civil.
They will fight to see,
That they drop you inside the penitentiary.
Sentenced to life officially.
Slowly by slowly,
You begin to lose your dignity.
Turn your image to immorality.
Your prosperity,
They will make it history,
And a paradox,
Even in your constituency.

"ZZIBASANZE"

Those who swindled CHOGM funds.
Those who ate Global Funds.
Those who ate Temangalo funds.
Beetaga kutema ko ngalo.
When we pronounce such issues,
They shout at us,
Mujjewi amaalo.

Zzibasanze,
Those that denied Katikiro,
Access to Bugerere.
Hope none studied from Makerere.
For the always shout yerere too much kerere.
Ng' abafere
Zzibasanze,
Those who stubbornly,
Passed the Anti-pornography law,
Promoting the uncouth behaviors emize emibi.
BESSIMYE,
Those that rejected the prostitution bill.
Zzibasanze,
Zzibasanze,
Zzibasanze.

Those that complicate fuel deals,
Yet its appointed to TALO.
With such,
I lose my head,
Betaaga ttalo
Still zzibasanze.
Those that practice domestic violence,
Promote women oppression,
Deny them emancipation,
Support Abortion,
Deny women access to promotion,
But avail them with access to demotion. They are so Heartless,
For they act so reckless.
When their time comes, they will be seen restless.

"GLOBAL WARMING"

Looking at each area,
East, West, South, or North,
I sense an invisible force,
Drying up the green belt,
As the too much sunshine,
Is now felt.
Being a global issue,
It is not selective,
As in each and every country,
It acts so effective.
But to the developed economies,
Industrialization is so addictive.

Global Warming,
As it signals its warning,
That there is massive destruction of the zonal layer,
And even when the earth's crust is slowly warming up,
Those polluting the environment,
Never say hands up.
Allow me to point out area 256 on my map,
As its in a negative transition,
As no more wet season,
Rain fall becoming a myth,
It requires God's presence,
Similar to that at Corinth.

Global warming,
As we continue to inhale dust,
Our intrinsic parts are at risk
As air infections are a must.
Hot as it is,
Body temperatures so abnormal,
We are yet to test the covert and overt,
Behaviors of mother nature.
Now don't be deceived ,
That we have reached the era of "the mark"
But just evaluate your activities of;
Production of weapons of massive destruction,
Promotion of industrialization,
Causing lots of air and water pollution.
Poor waste disposal,
Non plastic recycle,
Dangerous fumes from the second hand cars,
Or that your faulty motor cycle.
Now the results are visible.
As I call for each and every individual's efforts,
All of you qualify as legible.
To practice massive tree planting,
Reafforestation,
Proper farming implementation,
Proper waste disposal,
To fight for this our environment,
As we plan for the next generations betterment.

BE A MAN

Stop being on the run,
For it's really our concern,
To consider this whole practice,
As fun.
And all that is required of you,
To accomplish it,
Is you saying,
"Yes I Can" such that i stay safe,
Since I have been a hit and run,
Who didn't have this in plan.

Be a man,
For playing my part,
I think I am done,
But do not go alone,
Carry all your brothers,
Including your friend Dan,
And go for this simple operation,
That will save you,
And the entire generation,

I AM AFRICAN

Mimi ni Mwafrika
Damu yangu ni ya Afrika,
Ngozi yangu ni nyeusi.
Ubunifu ni yote Mimi nimepata,
Kama kwa nguvu zangu,
Mimi kujishughulisha.
Je, twendelee kujadili mawazo yetu,
Na kuacha kuwa kudhibitiwa juu ya kijijini?
Je, waajiri wetu,
Miziki yetu kuliko uzulu?
Tufanye kuongeza juu ya nini sisi nje,
Na kupunguza nini sisi kuagiza,
Kwa mengi ni ya?
Je, wasanii kupata kwamba yanayopangwa kubwa?
Mimi ni ndani ya Afrika,
Na Afrika i ni
